Normally, State fans are pretty cool. But mention Mullen leaving and they get all cunty

If a school like Georgia, Florida, Ohio State, Penn State, Notre Dame, USC, Florida State, Miami, Texas, Oklahoma, Michigan, Texas A&M, Auburn, or Alabama were talking about hiring Mullen, the discussion would be fine. Mullen can win at those places and not get fired (except maybe Alabama). Tennessee is not surrounded by the same talent pool as those schools and their expectations are on par with those schools. The ceiling is higher than Mullen's current job, but the unrealistic expectations make it somewhere he would not go.

Yeah, if you're gonna continue to act like a cunt because you can't stomach the thought of a bigger, more prestigious program taking your precious scientologist away, then maybe we shouldn't continue this conversation.
Can you take the cuntiness down a notch?

If UT backed up the brinks truck I could see Mullen saying yes, though I'm not so sure how he would do with SEC championship/10 win expectations every year.

All you can do is say a bunch of stupid shite. You have no points to make except "hurr durr Scientology" "hurr durr count". You aren't what you think you are. Keep acting like a dumbass because you can't think of any logical retort.

Yea, they would have to offer a number that everyone would make fun of them for offering to an 8-4 type coach. It's not happening.

I'm not so sure. I think it's conceivable that UT will just throw the bank at numbers 3-10 on their list if they strike out with the first few.

I don't know either. But if he can win in Starkville, he can win anywhere. And even Lyle brought in top 10 classes at Tennessee (he just can't coach), we have the largest recruiting budget in the conference by a significant margin, so recruiting wouldn't be an issue, it never has been (except for Dooley, who doesn't understand why you recruit linemen).
But we're not gonna throw the type of cash it would take to pay his buyout from state and his salary. We could, but we won't.
So peepingtommxx is getting worked up for no reason.

I think my point is that coaches who do well at smaller programs don't always translate. Rich Rod at Michigan, Strong at Texas, McElwain at Florida, the guy at Miami that Richt just replaced, etc. I'd imagine the stresses of the job are something only a select few can handle.

I can't see anyone at Tennessee approving an offer to Dan Mullen for 7 or 8 million dollars. That would be what it would take and that would be really stupid.

Oh look, you do all of that rambling just to agree with me. I'm simply telling you the truth (that you eventually agreed with).

It's ok, he's just not very smart. He can't comprehend logic and is also grossly uneducated on the subject. He's mad on the Internet. Let him type it out

Ive never seen such a sad moo state fan

All of you Tennessee fans have his type shite to say but you can't form a single coherent thought on the subject. You know I'm right you are just too stupid to come back with some sort of spin as to why I'm wrong. Keep hurling homophobic and retard slurs at me. I am strong enough to take all of the pain of you knowing you're about to hire another AAC /retread coach in 2 months.

You're obviously not smart enough to read through the thread and see what I'm talking about. You haven't had anything to say yet of substance, so I don't know why I expected you to do that.

I've been called a fagg*t, dipshit, and a retard by your fans and I'm the one who is riled up? Nah, I've just made the mistake of responding to Tennessee fans. Tell your buddies to calm down.
