Neither would they lay half a hundred plus on MUH BESTEST DEFENSE.
UTK scored 1 TD vs. the best defense they've played this szn, not half a hundred.

Winning with easy schedule is much better than getting an L after playing the best teams. SEC is a meat grinder.

Undefeated P5 teams should all be ahead of Tenn at this point

Would TCU have won at LSU, at UGA and home against Bama

Tennessee didn't do all that either

The games would be competitive at least. That would be better.

You're not getting in over Tennessee, if the vols win out.

You got blown out by Tennessee.

It's like saying a two loss Oregon would get in over a one loss UG.

What would the betting line be if Tenn played at Austin this weekend?

Absolutely. The committee knows this as well.

Meh...TCU has won all of the games on their schedule. If they go undefeated and win the Big-12, they should be in the mix. If they lose, they should drop out.

I agree. Undefeated they go. Lose and they drop out. The SEC is a much tougher conference that the BIG 12, and what Tennessee has done this year deserves to be recognized.

There is a clear path to the playoffs for the Vols, but certain things have to happen...but that is usually the case every year. Th rest of the season will be a roller coaster, as it usually is. UT fans should be ready to swing between despair and elation as certain teams (TCU,Oregon, USC etc) win games we thought they would lose and lose games we thought they would win.

Interestingly enough it adds to the fun of the season. Enjoy your season, because it will be very exciting here on out.

Tennessee has the easiest path in. Don't sweat it.
