Off season thread but oh well.

1. Steve Spurrier

2. Jack Youngblood - The broken leg and playing four more games...this guy is the Chuck Norris of football. Hall of famer. Amazing at Floria. Incredibly nice in person.

3. Tim Tebow - Obvious reasons are obvious.

4. Emmitt Smith - Favorite player growing up in the pros, before I even moved to Florida and followed UF. Moved to Ocala at ten and once I heard he was from UF, I became a Gator fan. Never followed CFB before that.

5. Danny Wuerffel

6. Javon Kearse - The beassstt. So good he made the Madden cover. Sad injuries ruined his career

7. Percy Harvin - Electric...jesus

8. Reggie Nelson

9. Ike Hilliard

10. Brandon Spikes

Quite a few Georgians on your list. (Honest observation, not a troll.)

1. Honey Badger- this kid was just unbelievable and was a show to watch

2. Jacob Hester- never forget the 2007 Florida game

3. Laron Landry- this dude would hit someone like he had a chip on his shoulder. I loved to see how hard he would hit players

4. JaMarcus Russell- was an unbelievable college QB and his arm was just insane. He could really throw a football

5. Leonard Fournette- aside from all the bad things that happened, I’ll never forget that Auburn game. He was so fun to watch when he was fully healthy and he was not human when he was healthy

6. Jarvis Landry- he was the one who always made insane catches and he was really good. If only we threw the ball more I’m sure he’d be higher up on the list

7. Odell Beckham Jr- made some really good catches but he was a show to watch on punt returns and him always snagging kickoffs with one hand was pretty fun to watch. Would probably be higher on the list if we just throw the ball more

8. Matt Flynn- was a really good college QB and could throw the ball and run it when he needed too. Not the best QB at LSU but he was a really good hard nosed college QB and I respect that

9. Glenn Dorsey- was fun to watch him play with the energy he had and he was a really good defensive lineman

10. Eric Reid- it was tough to pick one more of many greats at LSU but I’ll never forget the interception against Bama in 2011. Was an insane catch and he tackled really well

not be me. Had been offered jobs by TN in the past and blew us off. Then made comments about tn recruits talking trash. I have nothing for him. Nothing made me happier than fulmer not offering him a job this year and it breaking his little heart.

Except all but Dan are South Carolinians these days and Dan (and his brother) loved their days here. I talked to him just before Christmas ... called him. He's one of our greatest Gamecocks but he's never gonna leave that Americus area again.

He's always kinda reminded of Coach Dietzel. I remember calling Coach to talk to him like I always did right before football season started each year and he said "Rooster, call me back in two weeks, I'm in a hurry to get out of the house and Anne is pulling on my arm."

He had moved back to Baton Rouge and Katrina was getting close and he decided to evacuate.

Sure enough, two weeks later I call him back and I say, Coach how come you left the mountains to go back to BR? He says, without hesitation, "everyone goes home to die."

He wasn't morbid about it or anything ... but these days I get it.

When I spoke to Coach Reeves, don't get me wrong, he's nowhere close to dying (neither was Coach Dietzel, he lived like 8 or 9 more years) ... but Dan and his family are Americus to the bones, or thereabouts ... I'll just say "close to Americus._

Anyways, the rest of them on that list ... from Georgia, they are South Carolinians now. But God Bless Georgia.

This thread makes me wish we could see all of our all time teams play each other. That would be so sweet.
