You can talk about 11/5 and 9-6 all you want to. You can call 1/9 a mulligan, you can say we were lucky to be in the game or that we shouldn't have been in the game. You can say all those things but it doesn't take away from the fact that the above picture happened. That's all I care about. The how and the why are inconsequential.

There was no debate after the game that Alabama belonged. That poll was taken prior to the game.

Bruh if no one thinks you should be IN THE GAME to begin with, the outcome is irrelevant.
Bama was probably the better team, but they didn't deserve to e there. They played one hard game all year , at home, and lost.

I've seen plenty of people say both. Sure, more will say Bama. They almost all ,universally, say Bama should not have been there in the first place though.
I think that's what you guys forget or try to ostrich away from; nobody is denying Bama beat LSU the second chance they got. People do say, had you not gotten a mulligan (like Michigan in 2006), you would just be another great team who couldn't finish at home.
