The coaches are new to each other vs a real opponent. No matter how much you practice in the off-season, coaches and players have to iron out the wrinkles in live action.
Miscommunication will be a factor vs. Florida State. OC, DC, QB & WR coaches have never worked together. On the bright side, this coaching staff is legit. There’s a thread about why LSU always has shitty QBs; I think it’s been poor coaching and Joe Sloan sounds to be the fixer of the curse.

I dont understand why you are even concerned with this. Arky had a decent season last year, but to think that you guys will be a powerhouse now and for the future is " asking for trouble". In typical Arkansas fashion you will have a good not great season every four years and revert back to mediocrity for the next three seasons. That's much more predictable than trying to predict what LSU will do this season. Beating our worst team in overtime does not launch the hogs into some Big 6 stratosphere and deem LSU to be little brother
