and thats bad because????
bottom line is that he IS coming back and they are returning basically every starter on defense.
LSU has their work cut out for them with florida next year.

It doesn't matter why. The only thing that matters for the rest of the SEC and the nation is that he is coming back. Motivated to repeat on top of that.

I can respect that he is a stud "College" QB...but I am sick of hearing his name and how I'd be a better person if I shake his hand..like the clown on FOX claims.

If I played for LSU, no matter who the coach was, no matter how good I was, there's no way I would leave LSU early.

maybe he likes the college experience - maybe he likes being the BMOC

I agree. And, I think it's a very good decision.

I think he suspects/knows he'll be in coaching by the time he's 30. Coming back as a senior and becoming even more of a legend will go a long way for him in about 10 years.

What if there was a very limited amount of people going into the draft at your position, and you were better than anyone else in that list. Add to that the next year, you may be just one of many at your position. Plus you could risk injury playing that last year that could cost you millions...
Just playing devil's advocate here.

Sounds like a good reason to me...

the main reason for his return is his projection in the draft and he will not fair well at the qb position...they are already talking about putting him in as a tide end...look at the history of florida qbs and it is really poor...

Who can blame him? He's living large in college football.

The boy is, quite simply, a hell of a FOOTBALL player. He is NOT God's gift to the QB position. I may be wrong, but the pro game needs his leadership talents and versatility less than the college game.

1- The guy is a class act and it's a smart decision on his part to comeback for his senior year.
2-We'd love Tebow and would be very proud of him, if he was our quarterback at LSU.
3-In today's Tiger Beat article- Russell Shepard said- "I admire the way Tim Tebow handles himself off the field, " Shepard said. "I took a liking to that. He says 'God bless you' after every interview. He's amazing. Nobody has a scratch or a niche on him.
"I want to be known like that, a leader who can handle himself off the field. When he's on the field he's another person, a leader, a fighter who will do whatever it takes to win."
Lets hope Shepard has "Tebow like success" in his carreer at LSU.
4- Lets not hand over the 2009 SEC Championship trophy to Florida today. It's hard to repeat, no matter how many players are returning. We humans tend to get complacent after reaching a major goal, especially when everyone says you are invincible and will win. Just look up USC against Oregon St in 2008 and Stanford in 2007. That could easily be Florida at Tiger Stadium in 2009. However, beating them a second time in the SECCG might be pretty tough to pull off.
Keep the Faith
