***I wasn't gonna start one today since some were offended my thread got sticky last night and got long***
Since everyone wants to know it seems....
All test came back negative, he got back to Gainesville by midday. Looks more mild concussion than severe so far, but he is being monitored very closely.

Then why did he spend the night in ICU last night? I hope the kid is ok....just saying he did spend the night in ICU.

It's all a ploy to make LSU think he is sick so they don't call his cell phone this year.

By the time he got test results back and everything, it was already quite late. Plus they probably didn't want him flying on a plane with that quick a turnaround.

He spent the night as a precaution, they recommend that you don't fly. Also, they ran every possible test that can be run. They wanted to observe him. I would have too.
They said there were fans coming in and out all night, some even requesting to go back and praywith him.

Also, the ICU is much more private than the floor, so I am sure they had him there for monitoring and for privacy.

This time, UF's D is doing alright.

I am not a typical LSU fan. I am not pissed we are 4-0. I think it's a good thing we don't throw a 70 yard bomb on every drive. I think its ridiculous to call a "kid" and try to rattle him before a football game.

I just thought about this, Tebow just ran into Kryptonite(Gilbert's knee) or is it he must fall before he can rise again?

For a mild concussion they would have observed him in the ER or a normal hospital bed at most. You dont put someone in the ICU and take up an ICU bed to observe a mild concussion no matter who you are.
I truly hope and pray the kid fully recovers rapidly. Just saying my experiences with concussions do not agree with putting a mild concussion patient in the ICU.
