5 years is not that long of a time

Vanderbilt is a private university so it is not the same thing
West Virgina is the flagship university from a poor small state
They are less than 1/10 of what UT is

Actually a backup QB came a few plays from beating that Bama team

That is partially true. When Saban called the blitz packages said back up folded and quit like the starter did. UT was competitive until the last two minutes but what happened in the last two minutes? Bama blitzed and backup qb shite the bed.Colt McCoy's xray came back negative, that meant he could've played if he chose to. He chose to protect himself and his nfl career. The smart choice, sure, but also the cowardly one.
So we have a game to compare our teams with. Bama by three scores. What has Texas done since? Why haven't we ran into you guys during our dynasty. We have seen Notre Dame, Clemson, and LSU in the post season. No Texas, what happened?
I made you my bitch on the ESPN boards and you will be my bitch on this one too, just as Texas was Bama's bitch in 09. Just like McCoy was a bitch the first big hit he took from Bama, he quit like the bitch he is.

Actually McCoy was injured by Suh in the Big XII Championship game and

Yes Bama destroyed Gilbert and his confidence
Made him run away from UT as well
Yes that game ended Mack Brown's run

But To say that Texas became Bama's bitch, to use your words, is nothing close to the truth

UT is an amazing university with or without football. UT has a dominant athletic program even with 5 win seasons in football and world renowned academics

Bama can't say this can they.

Feel like you have a burnt orange scalp on your belt
if you want

This is not to say that we do not care about football nor have a desire to win
It is to say that UT can survive without it unlike from what I have seen in Alabama

UT could have been playing in the St Petersburg Bowl this year instead of Miss St

We have too much pride to put UT in that bowl unlike most of the other universities

Translation: UT afraid they might lose in that bowl game.

Against a MAC university I believe

I doubt that was the reason why the Horns declined

Could have used the extra practices for the underclassmen though

That MAC team is probably better than Kansas. Perhaps Texas should feel too embarrassed about their pathetic football program to accept an invitation to that bowl.

Did Arkansas and A&M tell the SEC horror stories about Texas

Do not believe everything you hear

Texas is not the evil scheming greedy university that some claim it to be

That's true. They only took 2 rushing yards from our defense the last time we played.

59 total yards of offense. Now that's what I call unselfish!

Since when did coloring within the lines become a "world renowned" academic?

Team SEC still thinks it is 2011. To recreate the feeling Gangham style is on repeat and the Jerry Sandusky jokes are being brought out of retirement.

Problem is this is 2016 and the SEC Crimson Tigers may only win 4 Bowl games with their 5 star recruits

Didnt the SEC break a record last year with bowl wins?

I thought all you CTR Clintonites were sent on new missions after the election loss. Why are you still hanging around?

I don't expect Ole Miss to lose this postseason unless we lose our entire athletic department.

Nice to know you got the year wrong. The last really good year was 2013, not 2011.
