Whether it's the endless bowls of bad football

The political agendas

The tv black outs

The committee concoction

The playoff push

The stupid TV shows

And the never ending push of CFP or failure has caused all of this crap

Most importantly the push to pay everyone under the sun

I'm going to have to disagree with this one. I think ESPN is pissed that the committee went the DEI route and let two G5 teams in.

Unless I am completely misunderstanding this, the playoff committee operates entirely independent of ESPN.

This lame-brained idea of a playoff bracket cost them at least one and possibly two solid fan bases who would have tuned in to see the first round matchups for their respective teams.

Whose viewer base do you think is bigger? Notre Dame? James Madison? Tulane?

I mean they didn't want to but it was either that or put Duke in

Their hands were tied

This is what we are basing playoffs on?

James Madison is in because the ACC is too stupid to figure out tiebreakers, plain in simple

The G5 usually just gets 1 team in...just 1...

The SEC got 5...quit whining, especially on Independent Notre Dame's behalf

ESPN is the reason for so many shitty bowls.

I don't have an issue with the bowls.. that is the problem? You want less football?

Not necessarily. I just don't get real enthusiastic about it when you have to start inviting 5-7 or 4-8 teams to fill your bowl schedule because the decent teams are backing out.

They wield enormous influence, to be sure. It's almost an 11-figure endeavor for them.

Playoffs are trash with this lineup. Terrible job by the committee. Give me Love and give me Pavia…nah we give you shitty teams that ESPN and Saban like.
