Apparently none of you guys can read. They have had one good year (this year) since joining the Big XII. All those 10 win seasons were accumulated in the Mountain West - those seasons are meaningless.

What does stadium size prove?

TCU is the most decorated program in Texas currently and has been since 2005.

They're not meaningless. Hell, they've been to two BCS bowls the last five years. Should have made the playoff this year.

Those three seasons alone are better than any season aTm has had since 1939

Since 12/31/2005, another Texas team has played in 2 national title games, and won one. That means nothing to you?

If this is an A&M vs TCU comparison, of course, the Frog program dwarfs the aggies.

TU-Austin is so downtrodden of a program now, nobody even cares.

When Texas football comes up, everyone thinks of Texas Christian

Are you drunk already? Someone else in this state won a NC since then and it wasn't TCU. The "most" decorated program in the state??

seriously?

This is the best TCU has been since WW2. What you meant to say was, Gary Patterson should be in the SEC.

Yeah. Why bring TCU when someone can just hire what made them good?

Texas A&M has brought nothing to this conference. All they are is a group of douchey homos that butt frick each other and brag about engineering degrees and how much their endowment is. We should've taken TCU over A&M it would have given us that presence in Texas and the conference as a whole could enjoy a trip to FW and their fine arse women

I'm impressed by the effectiveness of this line of trolling. Carry on.

Fort Worth is a city of 800,000 people just in its city limits, plus suburbs. Its not a "college town".

I'll take a college town that's the size of Atlanta proper over College Station...if the State of Texas was ever given an enema College Station is where they'd stick the hose.

speaking strictly of athletic success TCU would've been a much better add to the SEC than A&M. They have the best baseball program in the state now too...

But it wasn't about success on the field was it?

Yup. Just like the LHN. Athletic success had nothing to do with it.

Of course it really isn't ever about athletic success is it?

If it was, there are about 15 programs in the country that would have had their own network before Texass. If it was about success on the field, probably OU with 7 Big 12 championships would have their own network. Closest to them would be a team with 3.

Great point douchemaster.

TCU would of been a better fit.

They get in a conference where they belong, aggie gets to keep playing Texas.

We all win.

No a&m poster has answered my question as to what they have done and why they deserve to be in this conference
