TCU ain’t joining the Pac-12. Baylor ain’t either. Tech has a chance. The Pac-12 has huge geography concerns. They took Utah when no one could imagine anyone taking a “G5” school. Boise, BYU, Utah State, Colorado State, UNLV and Nevada are on the table before TCU and Baylor, IMO.

I think Vandy should go to the ACC. Feel like they belong there more than BIG10. They would fit in well there

Every single one of those is delusional. It adds nothing to the receiving conference.

Kansas and Okie State would bring substance, KC market and Okie State has a huge alumni base in OKC obviously

The rest bring nothing. The Lubbock market? LOL. Ames Iowa? LOL.

Fair enough, I can't remember who it was, it might have been Greg M on ESPN or CBS with Chip Patterson, or 247. It was a youtube video and It was late last night and again, can't remember who it was.

They may end up being right. It doesn't seem like the way the SEC has handled things in the past but this is a new world.

We need Vandy for academic credibility. I know we have some decent universities in this league, but we need Vandy like the ACC needs Duke. And Vandy holds their own in baseball like Duke in basketball.

There are other sports besides football. Why would Vandy join the fricking B1G? They are doing well being in the SEC and have been a long time founding member.

Why on earth would Vandy leave a sweet SEC gig?

It’s not like they are gonna fare much better in the Big 10.

They will never be a football school.

The PAC12 has historically been resistant to having religious affiliated schools

I dunno. Baylor's history of enabling and covering up corruption, prostitution and murder may have sufficiently distanced them from the religious school stigma.

If MIZZOU goes to the BIG 10, which I think they tried before

Circa 2010-2011, Mizzou COULD NOT SHUT UP about how their "real" rivals were in the B1G and they were ditching the Big 12 for the industrial midwest, frickyouverymuch.

Then the B1G said, "I think not."

Mizzou was left scrambling to get a SEC bid as a consolation prize. No doubt whatsoever they'd bolt for the B1G in a heartbeat if offered.

I would not trust that source. The SEC doesn't want lawsuits and won't reach out to anyone first. That was the policy under Slive and I don't know why that would have changed. It is like how there were rumors about some schools not wanting A&M and Missouri but the vote was reported as unanimous.

THIS. OU and t.u. reached out to the SEC, just as A&M, and OU and Mizzou reached out back in 2010. The SEC will not leave itself open to tortious interference lawsuits. Clemson and other East Coast schools may be trying to get into the SEC, but they will have made the first move. That's a good position for the SEC to be in, actually.

Now I don't think UNC is every leaving Duke, their BB game with Duke is not going to be broken up

They could play out of conference?

The SEC is not expanding beyond 16 teams. That's barely manageable as it is. There's a point of diminishing returns.

bullshite. They will make room for any team tgat significantly expands the TV market and footprint. If it’s inconvenient, too fricking bad. It’s all about the $$$ now. So they will either make it work with 18 or 20 or some members might be shown the door. ESPN is driving this train now, not Sankey, not the member schools, and not the fans.

If tge Carolina schools or Virginia schools picked up the phone and called, they would find an open door and open arms
