I mean Jesus, it's like people live in a cave or something. Does ANYONE remember the Catholic sex abuse scandal? They made a frickin movie about it and everything. With Mark Rufalo. Something like 3,000 cases of sex abuse by Catholic priests in Boston alone.

This was seriously like the biggest news story of my entire life

And here today, just a couple decades later people think this shite is impossible.

I know it happens. I just can't imagine it happening at a place like Briarcrest and him getting away with it and nothing happening. Some daddy coming after him and ensuring he had a terrible car accident when his brakes failed? I could maybe see that. Swept under a rug and lots of money changing hands? That I could see. But those things don't stay quiet. High school girls talk, especially about pervs. If he did it more than a time or two? Lots of people knew.

Maybe I'm looking for excuses because I don't want this to be true. It's disgusting. I especially don't want to believe Ross Bjork or anyone at Ole Miss knew.

If found to be legit, I would assume the Briarcrest deal would lead to a criminal case.
