There's one video where MAYBE it hits the ground but then if you look at the other angle it's very clear his wrist is under the ball. I guess they saw one angle and then quickly decided it was incomplete? Just mind boggling how that happened without viewing other angles.
Also the RW hit - I mean if the guy gets knocked out fricking cold after taking a direct helmet to helmet contact..isn't that the soul purpose of the rule in the first place, to protect the players?

Yep.
Zero response from the SEC. No statement. No tweet. Nothing.
Worst of all is that I don’t think the Alabama media particularly cares to push for one either.

One thing that is overwhelmingly clear now - Kirby is the best in the country at working the officials. He's gotten a lot of favorable calls over the years. Anyone remember when MHJ was going wild on them until he took a helmet to helmet that wasn't called? The "clapping" bullshite against Auburn where he basically got an extra timeout? The list is getting bigger

But UGA's right tackle jumped early on their first touchdown play in that very same game and not a word was said about it. I used to have a slow-mo gif but can't find it. Watch the highlight and pay close attention to their right tackle. It was their first touchdown play of the game.
So frick Simmons. That was a makeup call.
Also, from that same game:

It’ll make for dramatic headlines should we play them again. Like it does every time.
Based on how this game went, I'm not convinced UGA will make it that far. Great teams don't need that much help from the refs.

I get the other calls not going our way, but there is no excuse with replay to not call this targeting. The replay is clear as day, and the hit is why he drops the ball.
I get where you're coming from. It is possible to overlook an official just missing a call. It's impossible to overlook replay missing this targeting.

Don't forget when they were losing 20-9 in the 4th quarter to Georgia Tech, they targeted Tech's rb to force a fumble and no flag was thrown. UGA recovered and scored. Then, Beck's pass was tipped on 4th down yet they threw a flag for PI giving UGA a new set of downs and they scored. Even if the pass wasn't tipped, it still would have been a BS PI call.
And remember the officials fricked Texas so much, the fans got pissed and started throwing shite on the field when they flagged Texas for a bullshite PI call after letting UGA get away with murder a few plays prior.
