Upside down horn stuff isn't an Aggie thing it's a Sooner thing. They do actually pay tu for royalties for that. I'm going to say this is someone misappropriating stuff they've seen Sooners do and just assuming Aggies do it as well. Is this from an Oklahoma State forum? Arkansas? Kansas? Gotta be someone that's close to Norman. There is upside down horn stuff all over that place. Never seen an Aggie with such stuff.

No. Their unique dig at us is either "Aggy" (for young ones) or "POOOOOOOOOOR Aggies" (for the old ones).

I don't typically use words like always and/or never; I won't say the "thumbs down" never happened.
And the "horns down" to which you refer is more of a Sooner thing (though some of the younger Ags would occasionally catch that fever too).

I have die hard Longhorns and Aggies in my family and have never once seen a thumb pointed down in retaliation to horns pointed down. Mostly because the opportunity rarely presented itself

I hate that because you live in one part of Texas you think you know everything. Be a little more humble every now and then or someone is going to mistake you for being an Aggie.

Someone made a crude t-shirt of the most joked about University in the Nation. Shocker. That still doesn't compute to a mass of thumbs pointed down at sporting events between the two nor were car stickers ever prevalent.

I don't doubt that.
In statistical analysis, we'd say "my family" is a case study, not a population (or even a negligible sample).
But I agree that the Sooners' "horns down" is seen much more often than the horns' "thumbs down."

I've had a preachers (t-shirt horn) kids dance around my kids doing the thumbs down right in front of me after a Thanksgiving game in which we won.
I've had a car full of horns drive by after the Arky game in. Dallas with their thumbs down hanging out the window.
You don't know much about the subject matter you are speaking on.
