Serious question. When Bear was coach, was he vastly more talented than his opponents also? Seems like it’d be easier to load a roster now days with communication technology

Bear’s teams were infinitely more talented than most of their opponents. He used to recruit guys just so he wouldn’t have to play them. It was the Wild West, there were no rules. Today’s game has more parity
