What jurisdiction does the Circuit Court of Alachua County Florida have over Trinidad Chambliss? What are they going to do? Serve him with a subpoena when he wallks off the bus? This is stupid.

There are things you hear that are so ridiculous you should immediately dismiss them. You have to have enough self-awareness not to repeat every stupid rumor that comes your way. Saying, “I’m just passing it along,” doesn’t excuse the level of dumbassery here.

Fifth-year eligibility and multiple-transfer cases have already been won through temporary restraining orders issued by state courts.
If Florida can simply refuse to recognize a Mississippi court’s order and obtain its own order barring Chambliss from playing, think about the precedent that creates. Before every home game, a school could run to its local courthouse and try to sideline half the visiting roster over eligibility rulings it doesn’t like.
Yeah, that sounds completely reasonable—and definitely not like total chaos.
