Vandy, TN and A-day(tag football game for QBs). Everyone played like that against TN and Vandy, especially when they were down by 20+points. Not saying he is not going to be good, but Bama Fans typically put players on pedestals before the prove anything.

That play/throw in the Vandy game was sick.

What the hell does this matter during a singular individual play? Would you like to see him make plays against a good defense in say, a national championship game?

You know goddamn well Alabama fans, at least here, are pretty damn good at identifying who will turn into stars on the team. It has to do with Saban usually only mentioning young guys by name when they're about to be MONSTERS and the fact that if you can make enough noise as a freshman on this loaded team to get your name out there, you're probably going to be REALLY good.

Give me 3 players who Alabama fans here have hyped who didn't turn out to be pretty fricking awesome. I can legitimately list like 7 LSU guys like this off the top of my head

idn't Tua throw into triple coverage three times ? I think 8 of his 14 completions were screens or slants. That last pass is what everyone remembers.

His drive where he kept hammering intermediate routes to drive down the field and get a TD is really what gave me hope. I know that's like super basic to expect from a QB, but it has been rare to see that kind of drive the last several years at Alabama. Especially against a very highly touted defense like Georgia's.

Well that's rich coming from an Auburn fan.
Kody Burns
Kiehl Frazer
Jeremy Johnson

And those are just the QB's that were propped on a pedestal.

I believe he is going to be a great player but I’d like to see him in more action then 1/2 to crown the kid. Remember when Trevor Knight came in for Oklahoma in the sugar bowl and lit it up against Bama in 13 I think was the year. Now I know that’s not as big of pressure as the NC game but still. These things make me skeptical until we see him in a few games.
