True, Saban is the only reason Alabama is a good football team. If he can do it at Alabama, he can do it anywhere.

I don't know that Nutt has what it takes to pull top flight guys to Arky from Texas. I'd bet my house Saban could.

Saban is a good coach and excellent recruiter but there is only so much you can sell. I'm not saying that to be harsh or to say they can never win one but it would be extremely difficult.

your comparison was a relative one - you said it would be easier at Arkansas

I disagree. As Nutt showed it is easier to recruit and therefore excel at Ole Miss than Arkansas

F--- He could recruit in both locations then he could pull some decent kids from other states as well. Would it be a 3/4 year turn around? No but it could eventually happen

True. Saban belongs at a school that is bigger than he is.

True. Too much in-state talent at both places

False

He has became a recruiting machine with his namesake alone.

Saban could prolly win a MNC at any school in the SEC except for vandy. Recruits would commit based on Saban alone.

False, he would never take either of those shitty jobs.

False.
See Michigan State.
See Miami Dolphins (he had total control of player personnel and still couldn't even have a winning record) And he chose not to stick around long enough to see it through.

OM always will be a DUMP. You can only polish a turd so much. It still stinks

So you mean True????

You just said that the statement "Saban could not win at S.C. or Ole miss" was false

Gump retards can ruin a good thread. Get over yourselves. Saban is not the best coach on the planet and that's what it would take to win at Ole Miss

Both os these were before Saban had the name he does now. Every recruit in the country knows nick saban now, they did not when he was at Mich State....

His name alone would bring in recruits now to any school

True, despite what the Gumps say he is not GOD.

FYI some of your own fans on this board still think he is a God. And, what's more, they would trade Ole' Les for him in a second.
