All we need is one inning to open up the scoreboard. This guy is making great pitches but has made s few mistakes that we haven't hit yet. All it takes is a couple.

It's an ump. He's paid to not know what a check swing is, or a consistent strike zone for nine innings. It'd piss me off to sit behind it too.

We've always played well in conference tournaments under RC, we've won 3 or 4 in the last 6 years alone.
We really flame out in the supers though (or in the CWS when we lucked out and FSU lost their two best pitchers in 2011).

I do have to say one thing. LSU baseball fans are pretty awesome. I find myself rooting for them.

Childress coaches non-aggressive hitting, he's a small ball coach who loves walks and high pitch counts. That strategy works over the course of a season but gets you dominated by good pitching in the postseason.
Our hitters are taught to take tons of pitches.
