They’re always lingering, even if they’re not posting.
We’ll all get to see the unveiling of Daniel’s newest alter soon.

Now that Texas is moving into a real baseball conference y’all about to find out just how tough it is to make the tournament every year. Let’s have this conversation again in ten years

Seen these stats posted on AYS...
Of the 16 teams in the Super Regionals, #LSU has faced 5 of those teams already this season. The Tigers are 10-3 against those teams.
Bama: 3-0
Texas: 1-0
Tennessee: 2-1
Kentucky: 2-1
South Carolina: 2-1

Congratulations!
Texas may or may not make Omaha, but 2 & Q at Omaha is our ceiling, unless:
1) Alabama beats Wake (25%)
2) Texas beats Wake (25%)
3) We win our 2nd game against LSU or TN (40%)
4) We win our 2nd game against USM (50%)
^ all of that is just to win 1 game IF we are lucky enough to get past Stanford (45%)
But it’s baseball, so we’ll show up and maybe the ball will bounce our way, but we aren’t good enough this year to do much else. As soon as we face a good pitcher, we are burnt toast.
Wake will obliterate us.

Still fills weird seeing a texas fan in a SEC forum talking sports. Texas and LSU both have nice baseball history. Looking forward to the yearly matchups in all sports.

Kentucky n/a
Not surprised at 3 on this list but thought Ducks had been more recent.

Another stat, Texas is 11-1 in supers.
Assuming a minimum number of appearances to qualify for the stat that has to be up there amongst the best SR percentages. 23-8 record in those games - only loss to TCU.
Now I jinxed us.

In case there was any confusion, I now officially hate you. I didn’t bring that up for a reason.

Before anyone starts mocking Indiana State, their state-wide Special Olympic Games are being hosted in Terre Haute, I believe, on the campus this weekend. Unfortunate but commendable!

No argument from me. It wasn’t like that when I was in school. I guess that means I’m old.

Those two hurt. 1989 - the screw job from CBS. 2004 - Fullerton just seemed like they were not going to be denied. That Horns team was better than the 2005 championship team.
Felt we should have beat LSU in 2009.
I went as a kid in 1993 and we had a good chance there too. Should’ve played for LSU for the natty. Were up 5 runs on Wichita State in the 1-0 game and blew it. Then lost in the elimination game versus OSU after having won the opener with them.
I feel like we’re actually due to win a natty in a year we’re not even expected to compete for one.

Ahhhhh.... 2009. That was a fun one.
Hope y'all do some damage on the left coast. Would be nice to get a couple Big 12 teams to Omaha this year.

Stat I'm most concerned about is UF being 0-3 vs USC this season...
Hopefully we can change that being it's a home game.
