I think the home team provides the announcers for each series, but I may be wrong. I don’t know who they were, but I don’t think any of them were Texas guys.
Been doing that ever since the SECN and SECN+ networks came about. Some are better than others. Tennessee was always bad until they could get more than 300 in the stands. It takes winning. I think I have only watched one series at Texas and it was pretty bad but it takes time.

WHO were the 2 announcers on secn+ for this series ? The constant inane babble from both was fingernail on chalk board irritating. Actually the Auburn homer was less plug your ears than the Texas homer

I like when Ben Mc .does Texas games.

He has a good understanding of college baseball history, and he appreciates and knows the history of Texas baseball.

I enjoy the quality of the SEC top to bottom, but I get tired or hearing how much harderTexas has it now.

Pitching and defense always works. And you still only play one game at a time.

While I agree with your point, this league is substantially harder than the Big 12, so both things are true imo.

We’d be getting our arse kicked if we still had David Pierce.

Yeah, he’s good. He did State’s Friday night game.

Kyle Peterson is another one I like.

I think everyone is excited for South Carolina's return to Columbia next month to renew the basement brawl.

Wonder how many revenge games the Aggies get after getting swept at home by the team that went 0-27 in conference play outside of Babyarm Station.

Very impressive road series win for Texas in Auburn. Great weekend of SEC baseball all around including a no hitter for the Alabama pitcher - absolutely incredible performance from Tyler Fay against a very good Florida Gators ball club.

Too bad my Fighting LSU Tigers aren't looking like a contender as of yet - certainly does not appear to be our year.

Appreciate all the great insights and comments in these threads every week. Cheers
