He tried making the tag and lost concentration on grabbing the ball was the mistake IMO. But yea moving towards the ball would've helped, but the ball beat the runner by a good distance to where if he focused on putting the ball in the glove he would've gotten the out.

Alright, We start the 9th with Duplantier. Maybe he can show up and get on base for the top of the order, which would be pretty nice.

I’ve yet to see a competent SEC crew this year. They’ve all been bad every weekend, in all directions. Just embarrassing given the level of play from the actual teams; they’re so out of their depth
