Is the rule by 8 seconds? If it was 8 then you’ve got to let that one go. If it’s 10 then definitely a violation

Nothing against either team, but whenever Alabama plays Arkansas in baseball, I am constantly confused as to which team is which. Especially if I am multi-tasking or watching more than 1 game.

Is the countdown on the jumbo screen or is it timed by the ump only?
Can the hitter see the time countdown?

Batter has to be set in the box ready to receive a pitch with 8 seconds left on the timer. There is a clock on the scoreboard, but it's technicallly unofficial. The "official" timer is kept internally by the home plate umpire.

Hope that clock violation doesn’t end up biting the hogs… if Josenberger got a chance, he would have blown the game open. Now have to depend on our iffy pitching to keep us on top
