Looks like our players sold out after last season, We essentially have no pitching and Sims has likely pitched his last game at State. What the hell have our asst coaches been doing in the off season??

Tanner Allen and Rowdy Jordan carried your team last year. They are no longer there so that is the problem with State.

If we can get the bullpen figured out I think we’ll be ok. Hitting seemed to improve throughout that series and the defense has been a night and day improvement compared to last year.

We put pitchers in difficult positions early in the season last year and it paid off. Gave them experience and let the coaches know how they would react in pressure situations. I think we carry it too far sometimes, but like I said. I think this team will be ok.

True, we’ve seen State teams with a lot less offensive firepower, and rag tag bullpens, advance to Super regionals and even Omaha.
