Thornton, whom Auburn effectively locked down, went off and Kentucky couldn’t hit water from a boat in the middle of the gulf. Probably an aberration.

Houston isn’t chopped liver. That was a solid win.
They’re definitely not playing their best ball right now especially today. But they seem to have righted the ship and ripped off a run now.

Bama and Kent State are a combined 2-32 from three for the first half. Bama is also continuing their turnover fest with 13 in the half. 11 of bama's 39 points came from the free throw line.

If you’re gonna have a bad game best to do it against an overmatched opponent, but this would be bad news against a team with a pulse.

Kent State isn't terrible, really. If they weren't also shooting abysmally bama would be in another tight one at the half.

They’ll probably dance but out of a one bid MAC. 12 seed is probably their ceiling. More likely a 14-15 seed.
