Owen Diodati hits a 2-run bomb, his 3rd of the series and now up to 8 RBI
Alabama - 5
Northeastern - 3
Diodati might be a stud

EIU starting to tag the freshman a bit. 7-2 now with the bases full of Panthers.

Cerantola loads the bases then drops the next three in order. How cold. His fastball still sitting at 96

Great doubleplay to bail him out. Could have been much worse.

Hope we can find a Sunday starter or hopefully that's just jitters for the freshman.

I feel so much more secure now that our first baseman isn't 5'2''.

Is Richmond pretty good? I have been seeing them giving y'all fits a good bit this weekend

They’ve looked scrappy. Not sure how good they’ll be this year but they’ve looked decent as early season small schools go. We pummeled them pretty easily yesterday but they gave us a scare on Friday and are benefitting from a delayed game in poor conditions today.
Should also note our Sunday starter is coming back off of a season ending injury today and we’re basically getting our freshman bench and bullpen some reps

True.
Tamez couldn't even lob it back to the pitcher yesterday.

got you. Those small schools with pitchers throwing meat ball fast balls always seem to get to us as well. Wright State has not been an easy out at all
