Its so easy to walk around like youre the hottest name in college football when you win.
Not so easy after youre immediately humbled, twice, and sent harshly back down to reality.

UF skull fricked Ole Miss so badly people were for some reason willing to overlook the massive flaws they clearly were showing.
Yall have major issues on defense especially in the secondary.
Also Faulker doesnt make adjustments. He never has even when he was at GT. It is why Kirby absolutely destroyed him every season save one game that went to 8 overtimes where the score was obviously high. The other games he never scored more than 17 and was held under 10 twice one being a shut out.
I dont think yall are going to drop 6 games in a row because that offense will absolutely feast on teams who have undisciplined LBers but it was clownish to act like UF was suddenly a top 5 team after the OM game.

There are a lot of issues.
OL/DL
DC is average.
Buster has been exposed. Sumrall allowed this guy to convince him that Philo was enough at QB and refused to go after a top portal QB.
However this is a rebuild. Funny when UF beat AU and OM so many wanted to praise Napier's recruiting. As I said then other than 2 WRs, Baugh (who was not highly rated), there was not much high level talent on the roster.

There's a reason why most coaches just go through the motions at press conferences and don't ham it up for the media and act like a WWE wrestler.
My prediction for Summrall was that the way too intense/"win the press conference" routine would work fine with Florida fans if they're winning, but when you start losing, it's incredibly irritating and embarrassing and you wish you would've never hired him.
Florida fans may already be at that stage.
