Really? And I agree somethings are made out to be about race that are not; but N word is being used here.

She's not doing K Sumlin or any other black coaches any favors either. Her twitter post is basically saying if colleges hire a black coach they do so at their own risk bc if one person or even an anonymous one makes a racist remark, we have every right to drag your whole university through the mud.

It is a racist letter for sure. I though what the original poster meant is the letter was not sent to him because he is a black coach, the letter was sent to him because he is a losing coach

I don't doubt that the Shaw, Mason, Strong, English, and Wilson families have received racist hate mail at some point or another...well, maybe not Shaw because of the hippies in Palo Alto. Yet somehow their wives have remained classy enough not to attempt to tie it to their husband's employer...

Should be easy to find the author of the note That is a really polite piece of hate mail. Even says "please". It's also definitely written by a woman. And Charlene knew exactly what she was doing when she posted this. Do you really think this is the first piece of hate mail Sumlin has received? It won't work - we'll fire him anyway, because there is basically no way we can keep him now. What happens the next time we lose in dramatic fashion (Alabama most likely) The divorce is going through, regardless But A&M will take a black eye for this, for certain.
Who cares if it was written by a woman? Why are some people attacking his wife? Do a Google search on coaches and players receiving death threats. You'll see youth league kids getting death threats. NCAA official getting death threats from UK fans, Zaza Pachulia getting death threats from San Antonio fans. Do you think they staged their letters too? Dumb people do dumb shite. Why must their be an angle because of race? Why must you question her? Because she's black? What if a white coaches wife said they got death threats or was called a racist epithet? Would you examine her handwriting too?
Who is we? Who the hell are you to say that YOU are going to fire Sumlin? How is TAM getting a black eye for this? They immediately came out and stood by Sumlin. If/when TAM is ready to release Sumlin they will. Charlie Strong was criticized by one of Texas' biggest donors for being black and dumb and it didn't prevent them from firing him. Coaching is about winning. You don't win, you are on the chopping block. Sumlin's color has nothing to do with that. His wife knows that.

horseshite... How is TAM being dragged into the mud here?
Do you really think a school will not hire Sumlin tomorrow if TAM let's him go because he got a nasty letter from an upset fan? The only risk any school has on hiring a coach is winning and losing and are you a douche bag.

I don't think it's possible to criticize Charlene Sumlin for being black since Charlene Sumlin is white.

However, A&M is not a media favorite. The race baiters like Mark May who were deathly silent when Charlie Strong was fired will play an entire deck of race cards when Sumlin is fired because they don't believe A&M should be allowed to improve their status. This is the same Mark May who called A&M racist when they hired Mike Sherman because they didn't interview a black coach.

I think if Kyle Allen goes public with what really happened during the 2015 season, Sumlin will never coach again.

That's the most beautifully written N-word I've ever seen.

Bill Curry is completely irrelevant to this thread. You would be incorrect, not shocking for a Gump.

So the coaches wife is the problem and not the racist who wrote the letter? Thanks for proving my point.

actually felt a little sorry for them before this. Now I hope they both are fricking homeless in 3 years. This kind of bullshite is what is wrong with the this country.

Why would he have anything to do with this letter? It literally accomplishes the exact opposite of his desired agenda for the football program and the A&M community.
It was a joke.

No, brain donor, the coach's wife is making the problem WORSE by implying that anyone and everyone who thinks her husband needs to be fired is a racist.
By her logic, because I think what he did to Kyle Allen in the 2015 Ole Miss game is reason enough to fire him, I'm now a racist.
She could have simply said something to the effect of, "received a very hurtful piece of hate mail directed towards us of a racist nature that I will not post to draw attention to this person or lump them in with the rest of the Aggie Family who have supported and welcomed us these last six years. Frustration over a loss is not a reason to write racist messages" but NO, she had to virtue signal.

Which is my point. Why would his white wife play up the race card? That is ludicrous. She posted a letter by some stupid person (could be anyone) and people are trying to blame the victim. Stupid.
Jeremy Lin said he got way more racist attack him in college than in the NBA. Do you really think Lin mentioned it because he wanted to protect his job? What school has ever hung onto a black coach? They usually fire them a whole lot quicker than white coaches. Texas ex coach Strong had all kind of racial shite thrown his way. McComb hung him out to dry before he even got there. It didn't stop them from canning him. Ya'll are barking up the wrong tree with your conspiracy theories.
