Slimline first 2 years results were a product of Talent brought in by Mike Sherman. Just a fact.
For all the crap Sherman gets for the 2011 season, he did his job at A&M as a placeholder and rebuilt the program in a relatively short amount of time.
Also, these casuals on here will tell you how irrelevant A&M is and then claim to know more about its football program than its own fans. Pathetic doesn't even accurately describe it with these mopes.

These "casuals" simply provide factual information that Aggy fans don't want to accept, because you'd rather predict the future than accept your past.

I've made zero predictions but keep crying, chump.

This is what I agree with. I don't agree with A&M would have fared the same
By faring the same, I am saying if the results of the bowl games were flipped, the ranks would have also flipped.

Jimbo is 2-2 against LoSerU including a 7 OT beat down of Joe B.
That is two LoSerU superbowls lost to Jimbo.
Would you look at that

I don't agree that A&M would have been waxed like ND was.

OP sounds nervous. Whatever helps you sleep at night. Everyone knows winning starts and ends with talent.
It’s the reason Saban wins it all at Bama and LSU but not Michigan State.
It’s the reason coach O and Miles won at LSU. Talent. It’s pretty simple
It’s the reason Jimbo already has 1 NC and he going to add more at A&M.
It was fun being the only team to beat you tha last two years in the regular season! With a back up QB against the Heisman winner. Just imaging what we can do once Weigman is the man from 2023-2025!!

Usually teams fare better in their second try against an opponent, especially considering A&M matched up well with Bama in the trenches. Bama's passing game was the difference in the first game against A&M's inexperienced secondary, and Waddle wasn't available in the playoff.
Not saying A&M wins, but to assume it's a blowout is foolish.

A&M really started regressing under Sumlin in his fourth season (2015), and losing both five star QBs was what eventually doomed him. Then Trevor Knight got hurt in 2016, and he was a dead man walking.
A&M regressed this year a bit under Jimbo, but the QB situation isn't even remotely as dire as it was back then which is the difference y'all are choosing to ignore.

Sounds like everybody on the rant is starting to get nervous about Jimbo. Last summer, Jimbo called out Saban and backed up the threat on the field with a backup QB and an injured team against a gump team that was almost full strength. This thread sounds like a bunch of rant sissies worrying about who Jimbo is going to call out next. There is a reason all of the early polls by the so-called experts are ranking A&M so high and it just scares the shite out of most of you.

Surely A&M is more talented than the Mississippi schools and Arkansas?
