USC is to the state of California as UTexas is to the state of Texas
Aggy is aggy
Just comparing quality of life in LA versus country College Station negates the argument
I think USC goes back to the NFL for their next HC, surprised there hasn't been more Harbaugh, Fisher and Tomlin talk

Pretty much, both are not doing so hot this season.

I work with a bunch of Aggies, Houston is over run with them and they are as fine an alumni base as there is in the country
That being said, USC is one of those mythical college places but it requires a very steady hand. Lots of unique demands and distractions there.
I am sure if Sumlin wanted to go there he would do a fine job, I understand completely if he doesn't. It is not for everyone.
USC needs to reboot the AD, open up the check book for an NFL guy and rebuild their organization from the ground up. Enough with pete's guys, time to move on.

Yeah, but it'd be under Pat Haden. That guy is as big of a ****-up as Sark.

Not really about the now at either place, more about the level of prestige and direction for the future
Which is why I am not sold on Strong. But we'll see what happens there
I didn't see a swagger from him on Saturday, more like relief. Texas is the kind of place where you have to expect to win every Saturday regardless. Or else they will eat you alive

USC doesn't have nearly the football crowds A&M does.
USC doesn't have nearly the football facilities A&M does.
PAC 12 network is shite compared to the SEC network.

Context here
What started this was USC = TAMU

Yeah I know that was sarcasm, A&M is a great job is it top 5, that's debatable depending on who you are, personally I think it's top 10 and no worse than top 15 but the gap between 6 and 10 and 10 and 15 is not really that great. Jmo means nothing to anyone but me.

Who would you rather have as coach? Chad Morris or Tom Herman?
Posted on 10/12/15 at 7:48 pm to Agforlife
No problemo
Is TAMU Top 5 in the SEC?
Is TAMU Top 5 in the SEC?

No. Bama, Florida, Georgia, Auburn, LSU.

That is also debatable, as of right now I'd have to say no but it's not to far away. This is based solely on facilities, salary potential, and recruiting grounds only. To truly be top 5 in the conference we have to win something of substance. I'm not delusional and I don't think anyone really thinks A&M is a bad job. There are so many intangibles at any large program job that make one better than another for the individual that it's tough to quantify. Again Jmo.
