yeah except for those they won ALL the recruits on D
I'd take their defensive 2015 recruiting class over yours right now.

Its one helluva college town.
I know that doesn't jibe with the myth perpetuated by those who know nothing about it, but it's a great place for a visiting fan.
I'll go to my local gay bar if I want to see a bunch fancy men prancing around in uniforms (j/k

I've never been to College Station but I'm sure it's a great college town. My point was only that in comparison to the schools listed, there's not that much separation

I know he is a great defensive coach. However, I believe the talent level he has this year is easily less than it was last year.

And that is reason number 784 of why you will never be a d1 coach.

and once again, that wasnt the point

They've (TCU) actually upgraded it significantly.
It's a pretty great facility.
Too bad no one goes to the games.
Their students are trying like hell to turn things around, but it's a culture thing.
They just don't go.
I don't get it.

You aren't trying to inject reality. You are trying to troll Aggy and failing b/c we all live with sip fans and know what they actually care about when it comes to a schedule. They don't GAF about Baylor, TCU, Tech, Okie Light, KState, Kansas, WVU, or Iowa State. THAT is why their schedule sucks. They don't have very many game that the average sip fans can get excited about that will be coming to Austin or will be worth traveling to.
A single game against a traditional blue blood coupled with a few low end P5 teams isn't going to make up for the fact that they simply do not care about their conference opponents after OU. With OU being in Dallas (and not part of the home ticket plan) they really do not have a lot of big home games.
I don't think I can even find a single Texas fan that actually likes the fact that they are still playing on Thanksgiving at home vs a Texas based school each year (and the butts in seats verify this). The average Texas fan will tell you that if they aren't playing us on TDay they shouldn't be playing on TDay at all.

Texas's schedule is weak fricking sauce
It is. The Big 12 is by far the least respected Power 5 conference.

yall hadn't won the damn conference they are currently in in over 10 fricking years
We did beat the conference champ in 2012. And back when it was the old Big 12 (aka a respected conference) we won it almost as much as Texas did. OU has been the program winning most of the Big 12 titles.

Texas A&M couldn't win the big fricking 12.
But we did.

You mean the WVU we beat last season?

And reason #586 why yall haven't fielded a D better than them in 5 fricking years and they gave up 400 rushing to BYU.

Strong said he hasn't pushed his bosses at Texas to make the game happen.
"Let me win some games first," he said. "Then I can push it. I don't know if I want to go walking into College Station right now."
Easily the best part.

Were you the person who posted about the proximity between the schools? Either way that does make sense from a logistical stand point.

Texas/Texas A&M not the only rivalry in the news as WVU's new AD wants to bring back the Backyard Brawl: LINK
Seems like the changes to the P5 scheduling rules are making alot of AD's re-think past rivalries. I wonder if Mizzou and Kansas will be next?

Probably.
Like I said, the BigXII is a snoozefest.
You've said you disagree--and that's fine--but the fans of most of the member schools want more appealing match-ups.
Mizzou would def provide that for Kansas.
