Georgia is the most overrated program in the sec and one of the most overhyped in the nation.nyear after year it's the same ole shite with them. They're gonna do this they're gonna do that, watch out for uga, they have all this talent and and have recruited better than anyone else in cfb since Kirby got there. Blah blah fricking blah. They then get their shite pushed in by LSU by 20 points or more, lose to South Carolina and get beaten by bama with a true freshman qb in one half of football. Georgia is all bark and no bite. They haven't won shite since 1980 and you can attributes that to Herschel walker alone. They are over with and will continue to get beaten by better programs with better talent that performs better on the field, not on paper or in high school ball. It will be the same shite this season and watch what happens to them. Can't wait for bama to kick their sorry overated asses this season. It's going to happen. They know it and anyone else that knows football knows it. Uga would give their collective left nut to have even half of the success that LSU has had just in the past 20 years. Lol, Georgia sucks.

I believe Georgia won the title one of the Hershel Walker years.
Just researched it and read Georgia went undefeated in 1980, Walker's freshman year and beat Notre Dame in their bowl game to win the title

I wouldn’t disagree with that based on the fact that not many overrate Georgia anymore

Over the last 45 years Tx and UGA have the same number of national titles, and this is when the majority of that time it's been Tx/OU/Neb and everyone else a mile down the list. Whereas UGA has had to compete with many other powers in its own league. Not to mention that Texas has generally, up until recnetly, been able to hand pick the cream of the crop in a top 3 most talented state for Hs talent.
I'm not saying we haven't underachieved, because I think by many metrics that woudl be accurate, but TExas is absolutely an underachiever as well, likely a good bit more so. Take away the most well known performance in bowl game history by the best player in Tx history and Texas is going on 50+ years without a title.
