Dude. On any given year there are 3-4 SEC teams that would take Clemson to at minimum a close game. Good teams lose those sometimes.
The ACC does not have that currently.

In the last 8 seasons where Clemson has been elite, they have lost 12 games. They are 29-0 against non-ACC and non-SEC teams, 58-6 against ACC opponents and 14-6 against SEC opponents. 6 of those 14 wins are against the dumpster fire known as South Carolina. Clemson's toughest opponent in it's 15-0 NC season in 2018 was a 2 point win over Texas A&M that finished 5-3 in the SEC West and they struggled to beat Auburn in 2017 and 2016.
