And, sorry to say, when Bama and/or Notre Dame thrives, so does college football. They have a rich tradition that has added to the pagentry we all enjoy today. To that point, so has LSU and the rich traditions it has added to college football. The SEC wouldn't be the same without Saturday Night in Death Valley, cajun tailgating, and obnoxious fans.
Between Bama, LSU, Ole Miss, UGA, UF, UT, and Auburn we all have contributed.
Thanks to everyone involved is more appropriate.
BTW, have you thanked LSU and UF for the dominance of the 2000's?

Thank you Alabama for being one of the dirtiest programs in the history of NCAA collegiant althetics. Your ability to not only skirt the rules but to control SEC scheduling and officiating has been an inspiration to bastards everywhere.

There wasn't a championship game in the 70s, so you get the titles you are awarded. There was a championship game in 03, USC didn't play in it, yet they won the title according to the AP.
