No you silly Barners sometimes you just get beat.
We had our chances in the Auburn game but your defense held every time we had the chance to put it away. We didn't lose we got beat. Happy?

The OU game we fumbled in the red zone when our own OLineman knocks the ball out plus Mc Carron threw two very bad INT's that were uncharacteristic of him.Not to mention OU had NO answer for Derrick Henry and he only gets nine touches.

Losing a bowl game sucks of course, but ultimately you're just playing for pride. You always wanna win everything, but nothing is really at stake.

Since 1992 and organized championship games the non-title bowl games are basically the NIT of college football.

The loss to Auburn was way worse as something was at stake at that point.

And obviously Auburn's loss to FSU was about the worst type of loss you can have, in terms of significance.

It was still a BCS game though.

Yes it was a BCS game..but in the words of Dale Earnhardt Sr "Second is just the first loser."

When the crystal is on the line bet on Bama.

I'm sorry, but I go to a lot of Bama games, and I have never seen a fan do that, and certainly not a female fan. It's still hard to believe that she did this. She has to be embarrassed to no end about this.

No thats what happens when pressure is applied and he doesnt have all day to throw. Heisman runner up what a joke. They ran a 3-4, and you guys abandoned the run after a while? Thank god your OC left to Michigan.

Well, there was a time when API ran away from playing FSU. This time they came to play, but just didn't complete the task at hand. I guess they ran out of gimmicks when it counted.

So sorry, that API let the SEC down. What it was, was 7 in a row? LSU didn't let us down. Bama didn't let us down. Florida didn't let us down. But, API sure fell off the tractor and let everyone down! Bless their hearts.

At least we were not the first sec team to lose the championship

There is nothing worse than losing to an out of conference team.

I don't care what Missouri's record was. They weren't the 2nd best team out of 14 in the SEC. You can have your opinion and I can have mine, but IMO LSU, Alabama and a healthy UGA were all better than Missouri.

Missouri didn't even play a healthy Georgia. How would Missouri have fared Week 2 at Athens? The SEC Championship game shows that they weren't the best. Auburn scored a season-high 59 points versus the SEC East Champion.

Tell what's it like to not even be in the game against the 3rd best team in a conference that didn't even win thier championship?

Georgia was not better than Alabama in 2011. 1st in the East < 2nd in the West.

we played like we had not all year turning it over and got beat.

Alabama's offense played just as poorly, if not more, versus 6-loss Mississippi State.

I would relive this past year over and over even with the loss in the last game. And so would you if it was your school.

From 3-9 to playing for the BCSNC as the winner of the SEC. I thought we were the better team in the game, but we scored too soon. Great championship season. The future looks bright and we have a chance to go back.

The crystal WAS on the line November 30 and I bet AGAINST UAT.
