he's actually doing it the right way. Why hang around for 6 more games when everyone knows it's time and it's going to happen.
Because you can announce you are leaving and finish the season. What would he think of a player who quit midseason because he knew he was going to the NFL?

I'd love to know some of your failures in life.

Mike Tyson lost his last 2 fights against scrubs too. That shouldnt taint his legacy at all. He's still Iron Mike fricking Tyson.

the season is already finished.
So you want someone to say, "I'm done here" yet hang around and cause distractions?
I swear some of you must not have ever worked in a real business.

If we're being honest, you're probably right. Don't know that I'd be singing his praises without that 52-20 win

Second most winning coach in SEC. You don't like how he has ended his time at SC and I get that. That doesn't make him a loser.

I own a business. Cause distractions? How? The entire staff is staying. No one is leaving except him. He is literally causing a distraction by quitting midseason

I never took the HBC for a quitter, and I guess going out 228–89–2 is pretty amazing. He'll be dearly missed.
FIFY, you POS.

624 yards to 283 yards made his arse quit. Especially from such an unsophisticated offensive attack as LSU is known for.

Well your manager of your biz is going to retire at the end of the year. The employees, if there are any, will not take him seriously and do what they want.
Can you see the correlation? Players= employees, add it up if you can.

The last game and or last year does not make a loser of of a coach especially a coach with Steve spurrier's record !

I thought the 4 in a row was a record. I think Coach Bryant had a shared title once and didn't win 4 outright titles in a row.

He's the undisputed second greatest coach in the history of the SEC behind Bear Bryant, won a Heisman as a QB at Florida, and took a perennial joke in South Carolina to consistent top 10 rankings.
He's not in Saban's game as a head coach.

Not that it matters but, under Bryant, Bama won 5 outright SEC championships in a row from '71 to '75...
