Sarkisian went into alcohol rehabilitation the very day he was fired at USC.

He checked himself into an unidentified inpatient rehabilitation facility and when he did, there was sympathy and support from friends, other coaches and former Trojans players from all over.

It was the best thing he could have done.

After a successful tenure while at Alabama, and now at Texas, he's proving just how good a head coach he can be --- and how good a coach he could have been at USC.

I wish him well as he continues his recovery. Keep going, Steve.

He seems like a nice guy to me. Besides kicking our arse, I'm a fan.

I really wanted him to get back on the sauce when he left Alabama. That sweet black cooch he's getting has replaced his alcohol addiction

He seems like a good coach but I do think he needs a new barber.

I guarantee there’s plenty of alcoholics or pre-alcoholics up in here. If folks like Sark and Nikki Sixx and Jason Isbell can get sober anybody can.

Some of the greatest old school coaches in CFB history have been drunks... I miss those guys.

What makes you think he's not still drinking? His face was jaundiced last night on TV.

Definitely. We may lose to Wyoming first though.
