This is why we should applaud Aggie for their dedication to mediocrity after 4/5 underperforming seasons with Jimbo. Even extending him with a raise. In it for the long haul. Way to go 5&8’s.

I just don't think he handles in-game situations very well. We were running a track meet on Oklahoma State, but he wanted to throw the ball 17 more times than we ran it.

His reluctance to run the ball cost Bama a championship against Clemson. He kept having Hurts throw, even though he was stone cold. Because of this, Bama didn’t get a single 3rd qtr 1st down and ended up losing by 1 pt on the final play.

Firing coaches after 3 years is not a winning formula

It really isn’t, thought y’all would’ve noticed what happened to A&M’s program when we started the coaching carousel after firing RC Slocum. Its impossible to build stability firing every 3-4 years. I get that Herman was sorta toxic in recruiting (heard he wasn’t liked by many TX high school coaches) but surely there was a better option than hiring Sark….

Sark is a big Puss. He fits in well with the culture.

He won 2 games more this year than his average as a head coach

And elevated his Texas University win loss record to

13-12

Texas played tough against a much higher ranked team.
They lost their starting running backs so in my mind they played well under the circumstances.
Sark is recruiting well; the had the 3rd ranked recruiting class this season with 4 five star players per 247.
So I see no reason why they should not be more successful in the future.

Texas played tough

They got slapped around in a pretty embarrassing fashion, they didn’t give up but “played tough” is a huge stretch of the imagination

They think they're Alabama and expect to be undefeated every year, irrespective of reality
I cannot remember for the life of me the last time I thought Texas should be undefeated. The lies some of you convince yourselves of are impressive at times

Sarkisian will be fine. If y’all didn’t think Herman was going to have a 2021 similar to sark with what he left behind, idk what to tell you. Dude lost 16 games in 4 years and was lucky it wasn’t more.

Sarkisian will likely lose a higher total than that in his first 4 and it is what it is, but if it’s clear that a coach is never going to take you where you want to be, like it was with Herman, than why would you keep him if you can afford to move on? Sark will get the same judgment after he has had 4 years

Why anyone would fire Tom Herman after a 7-3 season for this clown is beyond me. I said it then and I still believe it today. Herman gave them their best season since 2009 but fired him after a .700 season for 5-7/7-5 sark.

Now replace Herman with Rumlin and clown with Jimbo and 7-3 with 7-6 and 7-5 with 5-7 and you’ll see the same dumb mentality.

Who the hell knows what is going on in that athletic building. Sometimes a coach comes in and doesn't have the personality to pull out all the rot that a program has had for more than a decade. Sark doesn't strike me as anything like Saban in that regard where Saban could have walked through on day 1 and said "your gone, your gone, get the f out of here, I don't give a shite if that is how you did things before, get rid of this ugly carpet, I want a fresh pack of little debbies on my desk every Thursday at 2:13 PM served by a butler in clown shoes". You need a certain type of personality to go into a big name program and beat down all that oppose your will in that building. Or at least enough powerful people on your side to make it happen. I doubt Sark has that.

And he might be only good enough to be an OC.

Specific to last night's game, it doesn't help that he was missing the best RB in college football.

Still, though, Texas just seems soft and very "finesse".
