I'm sure UTK's all world QB won MVP of the Pigeon Forge Bowl.

Is that the bowl they lost to Purdue in?

Maybe. I don't really make an effort to watch the pre-Christmas Day bowl games.

They needed hooker to step up in regulation time, but his final 2 pass attempts were incompletions. Game went to OT because he was no Bennett.

It happens fairly often. Offensive MVP on a team that, being polite, lacked O standouts. Should it have gone to one of the 80 yard RBs? One of the 50 yard WRs? To the Oline that did just enough? They had no choice but to give it to the QB that didn’t really do anything to earn it.

So your team scores 24 offensive pts on Bama gaining 282 yards, you think they are an offensive juggernaut.

UGA scores 24 offensive pts on Bama gaining 364 yards and it’s a team with no offense at all…

Makes sense.

The heisman winner?

No because he failed while Bennett stepped up with 4/4, 83 + 30 yards, and 2 td on the final 2 drives.

Asking such a dumb question proves You literally have no understanding of how football works.

Obviously Bennett. But you are not really putting little man in the same rare company Watson, Burrow, and Lawrence are you? Because that’s beyond stupid even for the Disney Dawgs on here.

So what you're saying is that mediocre game managers do not win the CFP MVP "fairly often".

Can't have it both ways, Vawl.

College football didn’t start 10 years ago. Maybe you need to work on the depth and breadth of your knowledge on this topic.

Based upon your inability to name a group of others, let’s just assume you are wrong. AGAIN. It’s not just uga that you are clueless about.

No he will simply be included with Greg McElroy Josh Huepel etc. Average qb on stacked team. This guy has zero chance to succeed in the nfl.

I respect Stetson like I do Jay Barker. He has a Natty, he does what he needs to do even though he is not as talented as others, he was lucky to have a tremendous defense giving him support, etc. Not bad. We should all be so lucky.

I agree

The difference is that UGA averaged over 40 points per game with Stetson at QB.

Jay barker? Greg McElroy? Josh Heupel? I'm guessing 32-37 ppg?

He was one of the best qbs in 2021 CFB in numerous legitimate measurements.
