With the team around Bryce in 2022 he’s going to get a damn good shot at another national title.

You really think so? Lol. Keep telling yourself that. It should help ease the pain of that humiliating loss UGA laid on yall

The loss to Clemson in Santa Clara was far more humiliating.

Sure, easy to do…..
Uga essentially lost an all American left tackle, the most important position on the line.

I expect it was. Imagine losing to an ACC school!

UGA lost to a 9-4 Georgia Tech team the same year we lost to Clemson in 2016

And we made sure it didn’t happen again. It was a very controversial game. I would go into all the details but I don’t want to sound like Alabama

Hell the auburn game one of our o-line starters got benched, then the backup came in played terrible and got benched, so we was forced to bring back in the guy that got benched in the first place. What Bryce was able to accomplish this year behind that o-line was nothing short of a miracle lol
As someone mentioned earlier bama qb success is mainly a great O-line and amazing wr's

His last drive in the NC game sure wasnt much. I saw a desperate paniced QB getting sacked time and time again. And that grounding call and pic 6. Wow! Anyone who didn’t know better would have thought Stetson Bennett was the Heisman winner not this undersized fellow running for his life

Did I miss the season in which UGA won the SEC and NC in the same season since 1980?
I remember Tenner’s anomaly 1998 season. Which was not as long ago as 1980.
Not sure what your point is, if any.

Stetson made your “Heisman” guy look like crap. Who was the MVP for the game? Need a hint? It sure wasn’t Bruce Young. Ha ha
Guess your guy was too busy counting his NIL money to prepare for the game. He folded like a cheap chair

Stetson Bennett is going to have a Greg McElroy 2010 type season in 2021.
It may be better statistically but he’s going to be asked to win games and I think we’ve seen that he can’t win against equal competition when the game plays more like a shootout rather than a slog.
Unless Stet goes into broadcasting and radio, I imagine his reputation with Georgia fans may survive longer than GMac’s with Alabama fans. I hope the dude keeps them free beers coming…he earned it in January.

Being a retard is not good trolling. Workshop your angle and post again tomorrow.

Yep, Stetson made one good throw the entire game. Prior to that Georgia fans were about ready to throw him away.

Stetson made a lot of great plays. All year long - and he was brilliant in the NC. Im proud to say that I never doubted him. Most of the doubters were sports writers trying to stir up a QB controversy or fans of opposing schools. He was better than Bamas big time QB. And he is the one wearing a NC ring not Bryce Young
Of course being an A& M fan you wouldn’t know a good pass - or great QB I even if he slapped you in the face

I don’t think anyone was happy with Stet until late in the game. In fact when he had that seemingly disastrous fumble, I seem to remember folks saying things to the effect that “he’ll always make the backbreaking play”
I’ve said it before and going to say it again: Stetson Bennett never really played terribly in any of his three games against Alabama. The only difference is that his team didn’t get into a scoring match with Alabama’s offense in the CFPCG so he wasn’t having to throw it around a bunch against more “coverage based” defenses. He’s got a bad habit of throwing to guys he misses in zone coverages but does well enough so long as a team has to play the run and stay in mostly man coverage.
Guess what kind of game he got in the national title game? He got the one where Alabama was playing man coverage late in the game because everyone else around him played a better game. Therefore he hit a few big passes against man coverage instead of throwing 2 or 3 picks against zone defenses.
He’s a limited QB and you can’t win national titles with QBs like him without a lot of talent around him and even then you probably need a lot of things go your way in those big games for the circumstances to line up such that you can win with such a limited QB. Georgia got a good roll.

Stetson can beat zone defense too.
You are oversimplifying his game.
Like all QBs, he struggles with pressure.
His legs can beat undisciplined pass rush though.
And many non-simulated pressures require man coverage.
But you beat every QB by hitting him. Stetson is no different.

Stetson, the Trent Dilfer of college football.
