Stafford is not broken. He has had some injuries. Stetson may get his chance to prove himself soon

Congrats to Stetson

I watched one preseason game where he was awesome. That alone showed that he’s more than depicted as guy handing off the ball on a team that would win without him. The guy can play.

He looked great against the Broncos 2nd string defense

Was there anyone who thought the Rams wouldn't carry a backup QB? Why would this trigger anyone?

Much of the Rant believed Bennett would never be drafted and certainly that he wouldn’t make a roster.

2 time national champion QB made a 53 man roster on a bottom tier NFL team? Remarkable!

Let's be honest about this.

There have been people who laughed at the notion he'd win a national championship and he did.

There have been people who laughed at the notion he'd pass for over 4000 yards and he did.

There have been people who laughed at the notion of him going to NY for the Heisman and he did.

There have been people who laughed at the notion of him getting drafted and he did.

There have been people who laughed at the notion of him making a roster and he did.

Those people are everywhere including on here. They would like to see him fail. He's cocky. I get it.

But he does keep proving people wrong. I'm one of those.

There were people who laughed at the notion he would finish college before age 26.

There were people who laughed at the notion he would obtain a college degree.

And he didn't...

Safe to say he was a lot better than any of us ever gave him credit for

It was foolish of anyone to say he wouldn’t be drafted or make a roster. He won two nattys. Has to count for something.

It was foolish

People grab narratives and fight tooth and nail to never be proven wrong.

They claimed it was the defense.
They claimed it was the talent around him.
They claimed he was a conservative game manager tasked with not losing the games.

There were a lot of silly narratives that were pushed.

At some point, the Peter principle may catch up to Stetson. But so far, he continues to grind and improve every day. Which is what all great QBs do (look at Cam Newton in August versus Cam Newton in December/January. The same for Burrow).

Matt Flynn made a lot of money in the NFL and he only won one natty. I expected more out of a "BACK-TO-BACK" national championship QB.

'cause we all know that all college football players are there for an education and nothing else.

Schools with the Worst Graduation Rates

1. Texas Tech University: Texas Tech University is a well-known college football institution with a graduation rate of 64%. That’s a significant drop from the overall college graduation rate of 90%. While the university may have an exceptional football team, its educational credentials remain questionable.

2. Louisiana State University (LSU): Louisiana State University has a graduation rate close to the national average, which is 68%. For a well-established college football team like LSU, this figure doesn’t bode well. They may be a force to be reckoned with on the football field, but their abilities to graduate their students seem to need improvement.
