What say you?

League play is always meaningless in basketball - soon it will be in football as well.

I've watched a lot of early season SEC games and I really do think the conference is much better than it was 2-3 years ago.

I believe you're right although I haven't watched a whole lot of games yet other than Bama's. I watched some of LSU's game the other night and they looked good. Auburn impressed me playing at Texas Tech too. The league needs some parity in order to get fan interest back up to what it once was.

The difficulty in placing A&M is that our best player didn't get cleared until after the Dayton game

TTU is bad. I saw them in person against LSU (and yes we almost lost to them too )

I think they're projected dead last in the Big12.

Maybe "impressed" wasn't the best description I could have used.

I should have said that I think Auburn's future looks pretty good based on the fact that they went on the road and had a very real chance to beat a Tubby Smith coached team late in the game.

It's entirely possible that I don't know what in the hell I'm talking about.

I follow Bama basketball pretty closely but I follow everybody else just enough to be dangerous.

uf basketball is getting the early season lsu football treatment right now. really shitty team that people automatically think should be elite, when in fact they just suck

Same thing happened early last year, then UF went got healthy and went 18-0 in the SEC.

TTU is bad. Their record will look good because they play 14 of the first 17 at home against a pretty weak schedule. AU played about as poorly as they could have and likely still would have won with half way decent officiating. It was an ugly game for all involved.
