Arkansas was never better than State.
State has a superior pitching staff and it won them the title.
Arkansas peaked early and didn't improve while State peaked in Omaha.

Didn’t y’all get a weekend starter hurt and that cost you in the postseason?
But I thought from the first game of the CWS that State was the best team there.

State still has more talent than Arkansas. If I remember State had some injuries with pitching in that series. Either way State had more room to get better as Arkansas didn't have that high of a ceiling.
Peyton Pallette but he was inconsistent. Besides Wicklander and Kopps, it was average.
However younger pitching talent will be better next year.

Don't get too cocky, you are CWS Champs, but NC St. got shafted by the NCAA. They deserve cudos for being in position to play for the championship and being the victims of stupidity.

Congratulations to MSU - well done. All segments of the game were top notch.
Let's meet up in the finals again next year and hopefully our defense and bats will show up.

and I can't help but say something good for us if you don't mind. 5 trips to Omaha and 4 times in the finals - 2 wins and 2 runner ups. We are doing one thing right for the SEC.

Congrats, MSU!!!
You deserve it. Played a complete game throughout the series, quality pitching, timely hitting and solid defense.
Vandy was lucky to be there. From what I saw, their hitting left a lo to be desired. There defense was atrocious.
NC State. Too bad. Everybody at the CWS played by the same rules. Still think MSU would have won.
The CWS is a brutal tournament, weeds out the weaker teams, and breaks the hearts of all but one.
