In fairness, Washington is the number three seed in the toury . Their losses are to top team like Florida, UCLA and Michigan. They even sweep Arizona in Tucson.

That’s a tough call, honestly. Van is a good coach, not great. But she is a great recruiter. Really really good. She also has a nice little resume of post season trips.

Oklahoma and UCLA are both good teams. Hopefully, Alabama, Florida or Tennessee can give them a run for the championship. I think Georgia is a season away from being a great team.

Florida and Alabama and Washington are probably the challengers for Oklahoma.

I would think much like women’s basketball great recruiting over a few years would more than make up for coaching shortfalls. It’s not like the fundamentals of softball are difficult
