He had our defense much improved after taking over for Chris Wilson. I will forever hate him for how he left our team completely unprepared when he took the UF job.

I didn’t blame him for the orange bowl loss. I don’t know why Mullen couldn’t find someone on the defensive staff to prepare for the game. Maybe there wasn’t anyone else good enough

I’m a bit more negative on him than most state fans but I didn’t much care for him. Played too much zone than I cared for and wasn’t aggressive enough, but thats like, my opinion man.

His defense was just fine in that game from a gameplan perspective. Ole Miss hit like two big plays to inflate their stats but that's it. Walton was tackled in the backfield if your guy finishes it on the 91 yard TD run.
Ole Miss holding Prescott/Robinson under 100 yards on 36 carries is what lost you the game. Ole Miss DL won that game for Ole Miss.

Schematically he's a bend but don't break DC so a lot of zone, not a ton of pressure but does bring some. I don't like him for Arkansas as I don't know they you have the talent for him to succeed doing that.

Geoff Collins is a good DC but he obviously was in over his head as a HEAD coach.
I had no complaints of him being our DC. I wouldn't say he's an elite DC but he is certainly above average.
