I don't remember Fitzgerald tearing an ACL. Maybe he did, but don't think so. I do remember him breaking an ankle, and I vividly remember everybody in the room I was in agreeing that game just changed. It wasn't celebrated though. That wasn't part of our reaction in the least.

He broke his leg. As I stated, MSU fans have a long-standing tradition of making shite up. It's the desperation aspect of the little-brother syndrome.
