Lol. State fans have been on the receiving end of all the grinding this week.
They know their once-every-two-decades-season is long over and the return to their rightful place at the bottom is in order.
Take it easy on them. It'll be a long time before their team actually contends for anything again.

LSU is in contention ... and State is not? Are you living in a delusional make believe world? Here are the SEC West final rankings for years since expansion. I hate to break it to you, but State has been just about as good as LSU in the SEC West.

As an LSU fan every year we look to be in SEC contention or national title contention. You guys have never won a national title....ever. You have never won an SEC championship game... I'll tell you what's it's like. It means enjoying winning seasons and bowl wins, even if minor. It means having a real in-state rivalry where your neighbors and coworkers root for either your team or the rival. The occasional win over one of the big boys is remembered fondly and a loss is not upsetting.
It means State fans enjoying State's past 5 bowl seasons more than LSU fans enjoyed going 11-2, 13-1,10-3, 10-3, and 8-5 with no NC's.
