State is a good football team. They have an excellent chance of pulling this off.

Bama sometimes has trouble with mobile QBs. Dak could have a big game.

Ask the LSU fans how the good feeling worked out for them.

As a fan, you can't will your team to win.

Unless you're Tim Tebow. And even then you need help from Jesus and Percy Harvin.

Yeah, this should work out well against the best front 7 in college football.

Where are the significant injuries on the o-line? Rufus Warren and Elgton Jenkins are both expected to be available Saturday, which I believe means everyone on the o-line will be healthy.
State will have a chance to win if we can stay within a touchdown into the 4th quarter, Dak can score a touchdown on anybody at any given time. To stay within a touchdown we will need to force turnovers, prevent big plays, and score touchdowns when in the redzone. Now Alabama is the best team in the country, but that doesn't mean state can't win this game. I believe we are a top 10-12 team in the nation right now, and home field advantage should not be overlooked.

Bama ended State's playoff hopes and Dak's Heisman hopes last year in Tuscaloosa.

Dak should have never been up for the Heisman. He's not that good.

Ask anyone who watched the last two Sugar Bowls how Bammer's arrogant, "we can't be beat" attitude worked out for them.

Yes it should. Home field advantage is extremely overrated.

To win this game Mullen is going to have to release Dak to run the ball. We have no solid run game other than Dak and we have to spread out Bamas defense. If we had used Dak more against LSU we would have beaten them. We are also going to have to stop the run and make them beat us with the pass

State is going to have to spread 4 wide and keep a back in for run/pass option and to pick up blocks. Mullen won't go 5 wide because Dak will get murdered.

I think the best offense against Alabama, if you have a guy like Dak, is to go 4 wide and alternate between drop back/read option with pass option/qb draws.

Mediocre pass attack? Come on now. I don't really give a shite who wins this game, but be real here. Mississippi State is an injury-laden team going against the best team in the country (right now) in Alabama who just held the BEST player in the country to 31 yards on 19 carries. Say what you want about Alabama's secondary, but they've played well this year. Ole Miss lit their secondary up for 343 yards and 3 TD, but Chad Kelly is a more gifted passer than Dak who also has one of the best receiving corps in the country surrounding him. State's receiving corps is average, at best. Also, your run defense is awful, ranking 69th playing against a schedule that ranks 31st in strength of schedule thus far. You will not stop Derrick Henry, and Dak will be forced to pass by the more than able Alabama pass rush. Still banking on 28-20? Doubt it.

I'm hoping Manny has been playing a long con all year by allowing big chunks of yardage on runs up the middle, and he has the top secret "adjustments" to shut them down that he has been holding back just for this game. Otherwise, Henry is liable to be off to the races.

Once again BAMA has risen to the position of having LSU CHEER for anyone but BAMA, UGA rout for Auburn, and the effeminate Racists cheering for the dawgs...WIN OR LOSE WE HAVE RUSTLED THE ENTIRE SEC WEST!
