I think this is a fair assessment.

I sure hope the Gators are buying all this, so they will keep him longer.

Thing one gives him credit for…we have had almost zero off the field incidents when Mullen is here. He has cleaned up the massive issues we had off the field and that’s a big thing for me. I had a hard time cheering for some of the guys on Meyer’s teams.

Probably because your players are busy with his wife while he plays with shoes.

Florida was impressive for sure. They got punched early, and I thought it would be blowout city, but they fought back, controlled most of the game after that, and just about took it to OT. Props to them.

He turned Moo St into a winner, and y’all doubt he is a good coach?

It's the stubborness and refusal to fire assistants. Recruiting has gotten better but not by much.

There was a thread on Elite Dawgs a few years ago where a former player discussed Mullen. The dude only cares about his QB and staff. This is the reason why you don’t see him doing well in recruiting or why he won’t make changes.

I like how the argument is always Grantham, but Mullen has never got rid of him or tried to fix deficiencies.

Also, he was all in on Frank’s until he got hurt. Then saw the light and moved on. Even Florida fans know this stuff but won’t ever discuss it as his problem.

I’ll say this Mark Richt was 42-10 in his first 4 seasons with an SEC title so Mullen at 31-10 better be good this season or else…..

I'm ready for A&M to rout Arky so the fanbase will go back to being quiet. Back to the basement for you.

Sadly, the 2point play was a terrible play call

Unless it worked and then it was genius right?

These calls are always hero and villain, and there’s no reason to be down by 11, you want to get within 10 to make sense. That was the right call to make and it didn’t work out.

Unless you’re talking about the actual play that was ran and not the going for 2 thing*. Which now I’m thinking that’s what you meant

I don't think he really was overmatched by Bama's players, there are some good athletes on Florida's team. I do think he outcoached Bama and almost pulled off a win.

Yeah, I think he meant the play call.
