I would see him often around town in Orange Beach. His granddaughter dated my oldest son for a bit. Had beers with him. I ate at his house. Basically for about ten years he stayed pretty messed up. Good guy for the most part. I dated one of his wife's friends from Cali for a bit. She was about ten years older than I was.

They named an alley after him in Foley next to the Bowling Alley. Sort of a disgrace by the city in my opinion. Thought he deserved at least a decent street.
